In all fairness, it is a good movie. I just happened to catch it on HBO the other night, and was satisfied with it. Surprisingly it's not entirely what I thought it was about. It focuses more on a girl who was conceived for the sole purpose of saving her dying sister who is fighting for the right to her own body at the age of 13. For that, I give it some kudos. Cameron Diaz does a really good job, as does Abigail Breslin. The stand out performance, however, comes from Joan Cusack, who plays a judge who recently lost a daughter herself. It's a renter for sure. It's a typical sapfest movie that was done well.
The Good: A surprisingly interesting story and great acting performances.
The Bad: It's a typical sapfest with no real twists and turns that you can't see coming from a mile away.
The Ugly: There's nothing really awful about this movie, no ugly today.
